Operate your station
and join the global
GNSS data marketplace.
onocoy provides global GNSS reference station data through
a shared marketplace. Owners of standalone stations and local networks can unlock and monetize infrastructure they already operate.
Why onocoy is unique
Network of networks
onocoy shifts from closed, vertically integrated networks to one global shared utility.
As a one-stop shop for data users, onocoy combines data from independent stations and local networks to provide global coverage.
Shared infrastructure with globally distributed contributors.
Open alternative to corporately owned, closed network stacks.
Global reach across independent operators and networks.
Built to scale high-precision coverage beyond single-region silos.
Marketplace-driven model
Standalone stations and local networks can unlock and monetize GNSS data without building large sales organizations.
The pay-per-use model gives clients flexibility to choose the business model that best matches their application and usage patterns.
Flexible pay-per-use access for different demand profiles.
No mandatory in-house commercial scaling structure needed.
Demand-aligned usage model for correction consumers.
Designed for broad adoption across use-case segments.
Neutral, independent, hardware-agnostic
As a Swiss non-profit association, onocoy keeps this core infrastructure open and supports heterogeneous NTRIP-enabled hardware.
Participants can use existing or new compatible hardware without being forced into one proprietary vendor stack.
Governance + interoperability aligned to long-term ecosystem access.
Works with existing infrastructure where possible.
Partner hardware options for new deployments.
No forced platform lock-in strategy.
Assured quality
Station data is continuously monitored and validated before being used in services.
Operators and users benefit from ongoing quality checks and transparent feedback loops to keep performance reliable over time.
Continuous monitoring + validation + quality feedback.
Quality-first data pipeline.
Operational visibility for station owners.
Reliable baseline for downstream correction services.

How onboarding works
Three practical steps from hardware readiness to live data contribution.
01
Get compatible equipment
Receiver + antenna + NTRIP server support
Use your existing setup or select compatible hardware to join the network.
02
Install your GNSS station
Location + mounting + connectivity
Install with clear sky view, stable mounting, and permanent internet connectivity.
03
Create account and connect
Account + credentials + stream configuration
Create your onocoy account, generate NTRIP credentials, and connect your receiver stream.
Why operators join onocoy
Build the infrastructure of tomorrow
Become part of a growing community building core utility for high-precision positioning, earth observation, and more.
Professional quality control
Benefit from onocoy's continuous monitoring and quality validation of station data.
Generate revenue from existing infrastructure
Station operators can generate additional revenue on top of existing station usage, mainly based on performance and operating time.
Serve multiple rovers free of charge
As an operator, you can service multiple rover devices through onocoy's loop-back feature without additional data cost.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need blockchain experience?
No. The onboarding path is designed for technical operators without prior blockchain knowledge.
Can I connect an existing station?
Yes. If your setup supports NTRIP server functionality, you can usually connect your current station.
Are my locations interesting for onocoy?
Coverage value depends on network density and demand in your region. Underserved areas can be especially relevant.
View opportunity map
Can I still use my station data, or do I need to buy Data Credits?
As station operator you can retrieve the data of your station free of charge to up to three devices concurrently.
Data Credits are primarily relevant for consuming data from other stations (if desired).
Do I have to commit forever?
No. You can stop your participation and disconnect your station if your setup or priorities change.
What is ONO?
ONO is the onocoy network token used in the ecosystem for rewards and value transfer around GNSS data utility.
It is designed to increase in value as the platform's usage grows, allowing early participants to benefit disproportionately, provided they hold onto the tokens they earn rather than selling them immediately.
Who are onocoy's main customers and how does governance work?
Customers include providers of high-precision GNSS corrections.
Governance participation evolves with the network and community framework.
Ready to connect your station?
Start with the existing-station path and move from compatibility to active contribution.
