Tarrius by Quectel Integrates Directly with onocoy to Accelerate Global GNSS Coverage

Tarrius by Quectel and onocoy have partnered to integrate the TR07B smart connected GNSS receiver directly with the onocoy network.

The integration creates a faster path from installation to a live reference station. Operators can contribute quality-assured GNSS data to onocoy, use corrections for their own field equipment, and earn rewards for the data their station provides.

From installation to a live reference station

Tarrius, Quectel's Precision Position Solution, combines professional GNSS hardware with Quectel's experience in connectivity and IoT.

Its TR07B brings the GNSS receiver, antenna, and communication systems together in a compact, IP67-rated enclosure. It supports 1,040 tracking channels across GPS, Galileo, BeiDou, GLONASS, QZSS, and NavIC, with cellular, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The direct onocoy integration reduces the work required to bring a new station online. With the optional cellular configuration, a suitable location can operate with power alone, which opens more deployment options in farms, construction sites, and remote infrastructure locations where fixed internet is limited.

Correction data for the operator's own equipment

Once connected, the station's quality-assured RTCM 3 correction stream can be returned through onocoy Loopback at no cost for up to 3 devices at the same time.

That means the same installation can support tractors, drones, rovers, or machine control equipment on site while also contributing data to the wider onocoy network. Tarrius rover users can also access onocoy correction services on a pay per use basis, without a subscription or minimum commitment.
