Stargate Joins Forces with onocoy Association to Supercharge Global GNSS RTK Coverage
Jul 10, 2025

Stargate, the Luxembourg-based GNSS correction-service provider, has formally become a member of the onocoy association. The move unites two complementary approaches to making centimeter-level positioning available at scale: Stargate leverages existing GNSS reference-station infrastructure worldwide, while onocoy’s Web3 model crowdsources fresh stations through community incentives.
“By tapping into onocoy’s community-powered network, we can extend Stargate’s redundant coverage footprint and keep delivering seamless, centimeter-level accuracy to outdoor robots, autonomous drones, mapping, and IoT applications worldwide,” said Simon Litvinov, Co-founder and CEO of Stargate. “Both teams share the belief that open, sustainable infrastructure is the fastest route to mass-market precision positioning.”
As a member of the association, Stargate will contribute expertise in large-scale network operations and quality assurance, provide input on technical road-mapping, and naturally ingest onocoy data to enrich its own aggregated correction service.
Dmitrii Kislenko, Co-founder and Designer of Stargate, added: “Participating in onocoy’s governance allows us to share two decades of GNSS know-how while ensuring that new Web3 mechanics meet the reliability standards our enterprise customers expect. It also enables us to redesign the infrastructure layer of the value chain — steering it toward decentralized physical networks as a credible, scalable alternative to legacy systems — inviting a future where reliability is not centralized, but collectively forged.”
“Stargate is a perfect example of how onocoy's innovative, community-based solution enables correction-service providers to expand their coverage quickly and at low cost,” commented Daniel Ammann, President of onocoy. “Above all, it highlights the advantages of the Web3 model, including the opportunity to participate in governance.”
About Stargate
Stargate aggregates public and commercial GNSS reference-station networks into a single, streamlined RTK correction service. By unifying heterogeneous data streams into standard formats and delivering them through flexible APIs, Stargate gives fleet operators immediate, redundant, cross-border coverage. Its hybrid model of re-using existing infrastructure keeps costs low, supports sustainable growth, and scales from early pilots to thousands of autonomous robots, drones, and IoT devices worldwide.
